According to media reports, Tencent (00700) is about to launch a WeChat AI Agent aimed at 1.4 billion Chinese users, which can help users complete various tasks within the application. According to two informed sources, Tencent is testing the prototype of the Agent and plans to initiate the compliance process for the official launch as early as this month.

Previously, Tencent launched three clearly positioned main Agent products for individuals, enterprises, and developers, namely QClaw, WorkBuddy, and OpenClaw. The company also recently launched the operating system-level AI assistant Marvis, which includes 6 specialized Agents available online 24/7
