Tencent representatives respond: It is currently uncertain when it will be launched According to reports from yesterday, Tencent (00700) is about to launch a WeChat AI Agent aimed at 1.4 billion Chinese users, which can help users complete various tasks within the application. Two informed sources revealed that Tencent is testing the prototype of the Agent and plans to initiate the compliance process for the official launch as early as this month. Today, media reports indicated that Tencent representatives stated it is currently uncertain when the WeChat AI Agent will be launched, as its launch time largely depends on the regulatory approval process for the Agent. Given WeChat's user base of 1.4 billion, the compliance process may be stricter than for other products. The report mentioned that Tencent's relevant personnel have not responded regarding the WeChat Agent. Previously, Tencent launched three main Agent products with clear positioning for individuals, enterprises, and developers, namely QClaw, WorkBuddy, and OpenClaw. The company also recently introduced the operating system-level AI assistant Marvis, which includes six specialized Agents available 24/7. Tencent President Liu Chiping stated in last month's analyst earnings call that "in addition to the basic large model, AI Agents with autonomous execution capabilities have shown breakthrough application value. The WeChat platform inherently possesses multiple advantages for hosting AI Agents." ### Related Stocks - [00700.HK](https://longbridge.com/en/quote/00700.HK.md) - [TCEHY.US](https://longbridge.com/en/quote/TCEHY.US.md) - [TCTZF.US](https://longbridge.com/en/quote/TCTZF.US.md) - [80700.HK](https://longbridge.com/en/quote/80700.HK.md) - [HTCD.SG](https://longbridge.com/en/quote/HTCD.SG.md) ## Related News & Research - [KIDZ AI Announces Reverse Stock Split | KIDZ Stock News](https://longbridge.com/en/news/288714697.md) - [Microsoft's AI revenue run rate just crossed $37 billion.
