# Daiwa: XPeng is expected to benefit from its robotics business, maintaining a buy rating on the stock

Daiwa analyst Liu Weijian stated in a report that XPeng is expected to benefit from its AI-related businesses such as humanoid robots and autonomous taxis. Daiwa raised XPeng's revenue forecast for 2027 by 13% to reflect the revenue contribution from humanoid robots. He noted that, at the same time, the company's localization production strategy is expected to mitigate geopolitical risks. He mentioned that the recent expansion of XPeng's gross margin also indicates an improvement in the product mix and better cost control. He added that with the support of the P7+ starting overseas deliveries, XPeng's management expects overseas revenue contribution to exceed 20% starting from the second fiscal quarter. Due to the slowdown in the domestic electric vehicle market, Daiwa maintains a buy rating on the stock but lowered its target price from $29 to $25
