AI Stocks Rebound After the Sell-Off Nvidia (NVDA), the AI chip giant, and other semiconductor stocks came under pressure last week after a stronger-than-expected U.S. jobs report raised concerns that interest rates could stay higher for longer. Speaking to reporters in Seoul on Monday, Huang said investors should see the recent pullback as a chance to buy rather than a reason to panic. He argued that AI is still in its early stages and described the market weakness as an opportunity to buy shares at a "discount." ## **AI Stocks Bounce Back** The market appeared to echo Huang's view on Monday. Shares of Nvidia, Advanced Micro, Micron, Marvell, and Super Micro Computer all moved higher as investors returned to AI-related stocks. The rebound came despite ongoing concerns about interest rates and the economy. The recovery seems to be driven by renewed optimism in the AI chip sector after Nvidia announced a multi-year partnership with SK Hynix (HXSCL). Investors also looked past a cautious outlook from Broadcom (AVGO), focusing instead on the strong spending that continues to flow into AI chips, servers, and data centers. ## **Huang Remains Bullish on AI** Huang has long argued that AI will become as important to the global economy as the internet. During his visit to South Korea, he said AI is becoming a key piece of global infrastructure, supporting everything from data centers to future AI services.
