The Mona M03 delivered 14,160 vehicles in May, contributing 44.03% of the electric vehicle (EV) maker's total deliveries of 32,158 for the month, according to data from the China Passenger Car Association (CPCA) compiled by CnEVPost. Monthly deliveries of the model rose 29.91% from a year earlier, reversing five consecutive months of year-on-year declines. This represented a 3.37% increase from 13,699 units in April. The model has maintained strong market demand since its launch, with cumulative deliveries reaching 272,589 vehicles since it hit the market, according to data compiled by CnEVPost. Deliveries of the G6 SUV (sport utility vehicle) stood at 6,525 units in May. This made it Xpeng's second-highest volume model. The figure was down 17.93% year-on-year, but up 14.63% from the previous month. The G6 has a starting price of 176,800 yuan to 198,800 yuan. The SUV contributed 20.29% of Xpeng's total deliveries in May. In the January-May period, the G6 delivered a cumulative 24,758 units, down 14.25% year-on-year, and contributed 19.67% of Xpeng's total deliveries in the first five months of the year.
