The foundry is drawing attention from all over, including from some of the biggest names in tech today. But today's victories turn into tomorrow's "where are they now" unless capitalized on, and improved for the future. Intel got together with Cadence (CDNS) to improve the 14A process, a development that shareholders found oddly without much merit. This collaboration will leverage the strengths of both companies to empower customers to unlock new levels of performance, power, and efficiency, advance the state of the art and accelerate the realization of next-generation products." ## **Gains for the Arc Pro** Further good news hit for Intel, as it turns out the Arc Pro B70 is delivering some unexpected wins, at least for those who are running Linux 7.1. A recent study noted that the Arc B580 was doing quite well on 7.1, enough to make some wonder if the performance gains were universal across Linux 7.1. Recent studies of the Arc Pro B70 suggest that that may be the case. A test running Intel's OSPRay Studio software revealed improvements in the Intel Xe kernel graphics driver when running 7.1 as compared to 7.0, reports noted. GravityMark also noted some gains in performance. The OpenVINO AI toolkit showed only slight improvement, though. All told, there did seem to be at least some performance improvement between the two kernel versions, reports noted, though just how much varied between different tests. ## **Is Intel a Buy, Hold or Sell?** Turning to Wall Street, analysts have a Hold consensus rating on INTC stock based on 10 Buys, 25 Holds and three Sells assigned in the past three months, as indicated by the graphic below.
