Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing (0388) held its 2026 HKEX Future Technology Summit in Shenzhen, with CEO Bonnie Chan saying Hong Kong’s capital-market momentum has not eased so far this year. According to Ming Pao, IPO fundraising in the first five months reached HK$160 billion, including 10 companies listing under Chapter 18C that raised more than HK$25 billion from sectors such as robotics, autonomous driving, AI and aerospace, while secondary-market equity refinancing exceeded HK$400 billion.
