# Avalanche Treasury Co. to Begin Trading on Nasdaq Under Ticker AVAT on Thursday

Avalanche Treasury Co. is set to begin trading on the Nasdaq on Thursday under the ticker symbol AVAT. According to Odaily, the company is led by Bart Smith, a former executive at Susquehanna and AllianceBernstein, and plans to allocate capital to infrastructure and applications on the Avalanche network to support adoption and growth. The company previously merged with blank-check firm Mountain Lake Acquisition Corp. in a $675 million deal. The Avalanche network has about 550 projects and more than $1.3 billion in tokenized real-world assets. Avalanche Treasury Co. holds about 15 million AVAX tokens, representing roughly 3.5% of the circulating supply.
