# Understanding the Market | JD.com-SW rises over 3% as JD A2P2 protocol officially released, clarifying the definition of agent payment

According to Zhitong Finance APP, JD Group-SW (09618) rose over 3%, and as of the time of writing, it is up 2.57%, priced at HKD 111.7, with a transaction volume of HKD 692 million.

On June 11, JD officially released the Agent Autonomous Payment Protocol (hereinafter referred to as JD A2P2 Protocol). This is the first protocol in China specifically designed for autonomous payments by agents, aimed at allowing users to spend money with peace of mind using AI, while ensuring that every transaction can be tracked and traced. This means that your agent is no longer just helping you put items in the shopping cart and waiting for you to pay, but has truly acquired the ability to autonomously complete payments under regulatory constraints.

It is reported that the JD A2P2 Protocol systematically divides the autonomy of agent payments into six levels from L0 to L5, providing a clear evolutionary path for the degree of autonomy in different scenarios. L0 requires human confirmation for every payment, while L5 allows for completely autonomous payments by the agent. The protocol focuses on the intermediate levels L3 and L4: L3 refers to the agent being able to autonomously initiate payment requests within a single task, with the system deciding whether to approve based on user-defined boundaries; L4 grants the agent more authorization, allowing it to autonomously complete payments as long as the payment amount, scenario, user, and other factors are within preset ranges
