# China Rare Earth Hit by Senior Resignations, Falls Out of HK Listing Compliance

China Rare Earth Holdings has announced the resignation of acting board chair and executive director Ms. Guo Jinying, executive director Mr. Kang Ding, independent non-executive director Prof. Yip Tze Wai Albert, and company secretary and authorised representative Ms. Tsui Mei Fung, all citing the need to devote more time to other business commitments. The departing directors stated they have no disagreements with the board, and the company expressed appreciation for their contributions.

The departures leave China Rare Earth in breach of multiple Hong Kong listing rules relating to the required number and qualifications of independent non-executive directors, the composition of audit, remuneration and nomination committees, and the appointment of a company secretary and authorised representatives.
