# International Workplace Group Continues Share Buyback, Reducing Free Float

International Workplace Group plc has repurchased 87,000 of its own ordinary shares as part of a buyback programme authorised by shareholders and first announced in late 2025. The company plans either to cancel these shares or hold them in treasury, and the latest transactions leave 962,890,690 shares in issue, underlining an ongoing capital management strategy that can be supportive of earnings per share and shareholder value.

Since launching the programme, the company has bought back a total of 31,397,875 shares, executing the latest purchases across multiple trading venues including the London Stock Exchange and several alternative markets. The continued scale of the buybacks signals management’s confidence in the business and may help tighten the free float, potentially influencing liquidity and valuation dynamics for existing investors.

**Spark’s Take on IWG Stock**

According to Spark, TipRanks’ AI Analyst, IWG is a Neutral.

The score is primarily constrained by high balance-sheet leverage (including negative equity) and a sharp 2025 deterioration in revenue, margins, and cash flow versus 2024. Technicals also weaken the outlook with the price below key moving averages and negative MACD. Valuation further detracts due to an extremely high P/E and low dividend yield.
