# AI TRENDS | Robotech Subsidiary Works With Nvidia on Co-Packaged Optics Manufacturing and Testing Solutions

Robotech said its wholly owned subsidiary FSG is collaborating with Nvidia to develop manufacturing and testing solutions for next-generation co-packaged optics and optical interconnect technologies. According to Jin10, the company said the new products and technologies are still in a joint development stage with customers and have not yet been commercialized. Robotech said the new work does not conflict with its existing products and technologies. It added that while the related technologies have achieved phased R&D results, the corresponding business remains at an early stage and has not formed a commercial rollout. The company said there is uncertainty around subsequent steps including market promotion, customer validation, and scaled mass production. It warned of risks such as weaker-than-expected market adoption, failure to pass customer verification, and orders not being delivered on schedule.
