# Energy Storage Sector Rakes in 152 Billion; CATL Accounts for Half!

Last year, the energy storage sector grew increasingly hot. Statistics from Black Eagle show that 100 listed energy storage companies generated a cumulative net profit of 152 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 65%. Among them, the five most profitable companies were, in order: CATL, Sungrow Power Supply, Huayou Cobalt, Inovance Technology, and EVE Energy.

Particularly noteworthy is CATL, the "big brother" of the new energy sector. Its net profit in 2025 reached 72.201 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 42.28%, translating to an average daily net profit of nearly 200 million yuan. The company plans to distribute a cash dividend of 69.57 yuan for every 10 shares.

CATL's profits accounted for 47% of the total among the 100 listed energy storage companies, close to half. In other words, CATL alone captured nearly half of the entire industry's profits. Additionally, Sungrow Power Supply delivered impressive results, standing out as one of the most profitable companies in the solar-plus-storage track.

Of course, it was not a win-win situation for everyone. Seventeen listed energy storage companies reported losses. The three companies with the largest losses were ST Narada, Shengxin Lithium Energy, and Hymson.
