# AI Exclusive Card Arrives: WeChat Completes the Agent Closed Loop

After a period of internal testing, WeChat Pay officially launched the "AI Exclusive Card" on June 17.

According to Wallstreetcn, this is a product feature designed specifically for AI agent payment scenarios and embedded within WeChat Balance. The WeChat Pay AI Exclusive Card has currently been integrated with Tencent's desktop agent, WorkBuddy, providing it with AI payment capabilities, and will be opened to more agent platforms in the future.

As Agent capabilities gradually improve, users can now obtain rich information and intelligent recommendations within some Agent products. However, at the moment of making a consumption decision, they still need to switch out of the application to other traditional apps to complete payments. This high-friction interaction experience has, to some extent, hindered Agents from completing the closed loop of the "AI shopping" task.

Although WeChat's AI Exclusive Card embeds payment capabilities directly into the agent conversation flow, allowing payment to become a natural step in completing tasks within the dialogue, final order payment still requires user confirmation on the mobile end for security reasons before execution.

For example, summoning the "Meituan Lifestyle Assistant" on the "Expert" page in WorkBuddy by saying, "What are some good group-buy deals nearby?" WorkBuddy will recommend a list of group-buy deals based on location and preferences. After the user makes a selection, they bind the AI Exclusive Card and top it up. The AI then initiates the payment, which is confirmed on the mobile end, and the funds are deducted from the AI Exclusive Card.

Security remains a key focus of current AI payment solutions.

It is reported that the WeChat AI Exclusive Card is completely isolated from the main WeChat Pay account. All consumption by bound agents can only use the balance within the exclusive card. Furthermore, users decide how much to transfer into the card and how to use it, and can adjust the balance at any time through "Deposit/Withdrawal."

Within the entire Agent ecosystem, AI payment serves as foundational infrastructure, especially as WorkBuddy continues to expand its capability boundaries, extending from office productivity to lifestyle services.

With the integration of AI payment, WorkBuddy's capability boundaries have been further expanded.
