Viewing insider transactions for **Equillium, Inc.'s** (NASDAQ:EQ ) over the last year, we see that insiders were net sellers. This means that a larger number of shares were sold by insiders in relation to shares purchased.

While insider transactions are not the most important thing when it comes to long-term investing, we do think it is perfectly logical to keep tabs on what insiders are doing.

Over the last year, we can see that the biggest insider sale was by the Chief Scientific Officer & President, Stephen Connelly, for US$724k worth of shares, at about US$3.16 per share. So we know that an insider sold shares at around the present share price of US$2.99. While insider selling is a negative, to us, it is more negative if the shares are sold at a lower price. We note that this sale took place at around the current price, so it isn't a major concern, though it's hardly a good sign.
