# TransCode Highlights Progress of Lead RNA Cancer Therapeutic

An update from TransCode Therapeutics ( (RNAZ) ) is now available.

On June 18, 2026, TransCode Therapeutics posted an investor presentation outlining its progress across three cancer treatment platforms and highlighting its lead RNA therapeutic candidate, TTX-MC138. The Phase 2a-stage antagomiR targets microRNA-10b using an iron oxide nanoparticle delivery platform, with a development program spanning Phase 0 through planned Phase 2 trials in advanced solid tumors and micrometastatic disease.

The company reported Phase 0 imaging data confirming accumulation of radiolabeled TTX-MC138 in metastatic lesions in a stage IV breast cancer patient and described interim Phase 1a safety results in 16 patients, with no dose-limiting toxicities and three participants remaining on study. Management and advisory teams with deep oncology and RNA expertise were emphasized, framing TransCode as a rare small-cap with multiple near-term catalysts in the high-value advanced cancer market, estimated at up to $250 billion by 2032.

**Spark’s Take on RNAZ Stock**

According to Spark, TipRanks’ AI Analyst, RNAZ is a Neutral.

The score is primarily constrained by weak financial performance (no revenue, widening losses, and ongoing cash burn), with limited valuation support due to continued losses. Offsetting factors include constructive near-term technical momentum and positive corporate developments around the pipeline and planned Phase 2a work, though high volatility and stretched oscillators temper the technical contribution.
