# Mabwell Showcases Promising Nectin-4 ADC Data in Cervical Cancer at ESMO Gynae 2026

Mabwell (Shanghai) Bioscience Co., Ltd. will present new clinical data for its Nectin-4-targeted ADC 9MW2821 (Bulumtatug Fuvedotin) in recurrent or metastatic cervical cancer at the ESMO Gynaecological Cancers Congress 2026 in Copenhagen. Updated Phase I/II results show a median overall survival of 19.4 months among 53 efficacy-evaluable patients, with nearly half surviving at 24 months, and no new safety signals, while a subgroup previously treated with platinum doublet chemotherapy and immune checkpoint inhibitors has not yet reached median overall survival.

The company will also share preliminary data from a Phase Ib/II trial combining 9MW2821 with PD-1 inhibitor toripalimab, where treatment-naïve patients posted an 80% objective response rate and 100% disease control, suggesting strong synergistic potential. Mabwell is running four Phase III registrational trials and several early-stage studies for 9MW2821 across urothelial, cervical, esophageal and triple-negative breast cancers, and plans interim analyses in 2026 that could support future regulatory filings, underscoring its ambition to establish 9MW2821 as a new standard in Nectin-4-targeted oncology.
