# Technology investor Prosus: Revenue growth driven by various businesses and Tencent's growth

Tencent's largest shareholder, Prosus, announced that its revenue for the fiscal year 2026 has increased, benefiting from its various businesses and investments in the Chinese tech giant Tencent.

The Amsterdam-listed tech investor stated on Friday that for the fiscal year ending March 31, the company's revenue exceeded $7.3 billion, with its Ecosystem (formerly e-commerce) business achieving an adjusted EBITDA of $1.1 billion.

Prosus recorded revenue of $6.2 billion in the fiscal year 2025.

For continuing operations, one of the company's preferred metrics, "core overall earnings," is expected to grow by 19% to 28%. Prosus added that overall earnings are expected to increase by 6.7% to 15.7%. The company stated that these metrics reflect strong revenue growth and profitability across its various businesses, particularly Tencent.

Meanwhile, earnings per share for common stock are expected to range from a decline of 2.6% to an increase of 6.4%. This partly reflects a decrease in the proceeds from the sale of Tencent shares due to a reduction in the number of shares sold during the period, as well as an increase in unrealized foreign exchange losses.

The company will announce its fiscal year 2026 results on June 29
