# Berkeley Group Cuts Share Count with Latest Buyback and Cancellation

The Berkeley Group Holdings ( (GB:BKG) ) has shared an announcement.

The Berkeley Group Holdings plc has continued its capital return strategy by repurchasing and cancelling a series of ordinary shares on the London Stock Exchange between 12 and 19 June 2026. The buybacks, executed via Barclays under an existing AGM authority, were carried out at prices in the mid‑3,000 pence range.

All repurchased shares will be cancelled rather than held in treasury, reducing the company’s share count to 92,300,249 in issue. The lower number of shares in circulation is expected to enhance earnings per share and may signal management’s confidence in the group’s valuation to investors and other stakeholders.

 with a £2800.00 price target.

**Spark’s Take on BKG Stock**

According to Spark, TipRanks’ AI Analyst, BKG is a Outperform.

The overall stock score is primarily driven by strong valuation metrics, including a low P/E ratio and high dividend yield, which suggest potential undervaluation. However, technical indicators reflect a bearish trend, and financial performance highlights challenges in revenue growth and cash flow generation. Recent positive corporate events, while not weighted, support a positive outlook.
