# COOWA, Backed by SoftBank, Preparing for Hong Kong IPO, Aims to File Within Three Months

According to The Wall Street Journal, citing people familiar with the matter, robot manufacturer COOWA, backed by SoftBank, is preparing for a Hong Kong IPO. After raising more than USD600 million in its latest funding round, the company’s valuation has exceeded USD3 billion.

Sources added that COOWA plans to submit its IPO application within the next two to three months and is currently working with Huatai Securities and Deutsche Bank on the listing process.

Founded in 2015, COOWA Technology is a leading enterprise in general-purpose robotics and autonomous driving, committed to achieving breakthroughs in Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) technologies in the physical world. COOWA has established three major business segments: smart mobility (Level 4 autonomous minibuses), smart property (wheeled and quadruped robots), and smart city management (a full range of sanitation robots).
