EFUND (Hong Kong) FTSE MPF China A-Share ETF (3509) and FTSE MPF Hong Kong Stock ETF (3579) were listed today. Shi Feng, Chief Marketing Officer of EFUND Asset Management, stated that institutional investors are currently looking forward to these two products, as the EFUND FTSE MPF Hong Kong Stock ETF covers over 300 constituent stocks, making it suitable for long-term allocation by institutional investors, with expectations that long-term pension funds will gradually enter the market. As for the EFUND FTSE MPF China A-Share ETF, it is the only product in the market tracking the MPF China A-Share Index, attracting attention from funds that are looking to allocate to A-shares in the long term. ## Providing Minimum Cost Allocation Options The two indices mentioned above are passive indices, tracking the FTSE MPF Hong Kong Index and the FTSE MPF China A-Share Index, respectively. He stated that the company is responding to the call for low fees in the MPF market by launching these products, providing institutional investors with minimum cost allocation options; if retail investors wish to pursue long-term, low-cost allocations in Hong Kong and A-shares, they may also consider these two products. ## Claims Mainland and Hong Kong Stock Markets Are Attractive Recently, the stock markets in the U.S., Japan, and South Korea have performed well, while the mainland and Hong Kong stock markets have been relatively weak. He pointed out that different investors have varying views on the long-term performance of the U.S. and South Korean markets, but from a valuation perspective, the mainland and Hong Kong stock markets are attractive, making it a good time to launch products. As the largest public fund in China, EFUND is optimistic about allocations in A-shares and Hong Kong stocks in the long term, although short-term fluctuations are cyclical and difficult to avoid. ## Senior Material's Public Offering Oversubscribed 1,562 Times On the same day, two new stocks were listed, with lithium-ion battery separator manufacturer Senior Material (6067) opening 38.4% higher than its listing price of HKD 8.98, currently reported at HKD 11.94, up nearly 33%, with a profit of HKD 1,480 for a board lot of 500 shares. Subscribing for 3,000 lots in Group B could yield 1 to 2 lots, with "top hammer flying," distributing 7 to 8 lots, while the international offering was oversubscribed 13.3 times. ## HJ Science Plummets 40% The "B stock" HJ Science (6132) reached a high of HKD 82 after the market opened but then "plummeted," currently reported at HKD 48.5, down about 40% from its listing price of HKD 81.8, resulting in a loss of HKD 3,330 for a board lot of 100 shares.
