# "Stocks in Motion" The most unfortunate new stock HJ SCIENCE has a dead cat bounce of 14%, but the current price is still half of the listing price

According to the Economic News Agency on the 24th, this year's worst-performing IPO, HJ SCIENCE-B (06132), has rebounded 14% to a current price of HKD 40.18, with a trading volume of approximately 1.31 million shares, involving HKD 48.87 million. The stock hit a new low of HKD 32 during the session. However, even with today's rebound, the current price is still 50.9% lower than the listing price of HKD 81.8.

HJ SCIENCE-B debuted yesterday (23rd) and closed at HKD 35.26, which is 56.9% lower than the listing price of HKD 81.8, marking a decline of 57%, surpassing the earlier IPO of Tong Shifu (00664) which closed down 49%, becoming the worst-performing IPO of the year.

Currently, the Hang Seng Index is at 23,371, up 35 points or 0.2%, with a main board turnover exceeding HKD 70.2 billion. The National Enterprises Index is at 7,756, down 2 points or less than 0.1%. The Hang Seng Tech Index is at 4,435, up 35 points or 0.8%. (vs)
