# "Stocks in Motion" Ganfeng Lithium and TIANQI LITHIUM rise over 3%, mainland lithium carbonate futures surge nearly 4% breaking 160,000 RMB

"According to the Economic News Agency on the 24th, the lithium industry giants rose together, with Ganfeng Lithium (01772) up 3.3%, trading at HKD 56.9, and Tianqi Lithium (09696) up 3.5%, trading at HKD 43.82.

The main contract for lithium carbonate surged 3.86%, currently reported at RMB 162,620 per ton, reaching a high of RMB 163,000 per ton.

Currently, the Hang Seng Index is reported at 23,457, up 121 points or 0.5%, with a turnover of over HKD 242.3 billion on the main board. The National Enterprises Index is reported at 7,781, up 22 points or 0.3%. The Hang Seng TECH Index is reported at 4,492, up 93 points or 2.1%. The near-month futures contract is newly reported at 23,446, up 131 points, with a discount of 11 points. The near-month national index futures are reported at 7,777, up 24 points, with a discount of 4 points. The near-month tech index futures are newly reported at 4,489, up 94 points, with a premium of 4 points.
