# SUNNY OPTICAL  Subsidiary Further Subscribes for Equity in GOERTEK  Subsidiary, Stake to Rise to About 33.27%

SUNNY OPTICAL (02382.HK) -8.900 (-11.726%) Short selling $1.04B; Ratio 28.617% announced that the Board resolved that its subsidiary Ningbo OmniLight and Goertek (002241.SZ) +0.020 (+0.084%) , as subscribers, and Goertek Optical would enter into a subscription agreement after the relevant shareholders’ approval being obtained by Goertek at its general meeting, pursuant to which Ningbo OmniLight and Goertek would agree to subscribe for the new registered capital of Goertek Optical of approximately RMB110 million each, by way of capital injection into Goertek Optical in the respective sums of RMB500 million each.

Upon the completion of the Further Subscription, Ningbo OmniLight will hold approximately 33.27% equity interests in Goertek Optical as enlarged by the Further Subscription and will still be the second largest equity owner of Goertek Optical.
