The market opened low today (25th) at 23 points but reached a high for the day before gradually expanding its losses, dipping to 22,978 points in the afternoon, down as much as 433 points. Near the close, it continued to struggle around the 23,000 mark, closing down 335 points at 23,076 points, marking a level not seen in over a year. The total market turnover for the day increased to over 325.7 billion yuan. Additionally, northbound capital turned into a net outflow, with an outflow amounting to 8.8 billion yuan. The technology index fell by 73 points or 1.6%, closing at 4,405 points. Nie Zhenbang, Chief Analyst at GaoGe Securities, stated: \"If negative news about Alibaba continues to ferment, there may still be slight selling pressure. For now, we hope to find support at 22,500 points; however, if traditional tech stocks continue to be sold off, there is a significant chance that the Hang Seng Index could fall back to 22,000 points, where support would be stronger.\" Major tech stocks generally declined, with Alibaba being accused of illegally obtaining artificial intelligence (AI) model technology through fake accounts, dropping over 4% to a level not seen in over a year. Xiaomi Group, JD Group, and Meituan fell over 2%. Trip.com Group expected revenue growth to slow in the second quarter, and along with Sunny Optical Technology, it plummeted over 10%, making them the two worst-performing blue chips. Bank of China, named by the National Audit Office for tax evasion, fell over 5%, with other domestic banks also under pressure, including Agricultural Bank of China, which dropped nearly 3%. Gold prices fell below 4,000 USD per ounce, with Shandong Gold and Zhaojin Mining plummeting 8%. Micron Technology's first-quarter results exceeded expectations, while Biren Tech and GigaDevice soared over 12%, hitting new highs.
