Amazon's cloud computing business AWS has once again raised the prices for GPU capacity reservation services According to Zhitong Finance APP, Amazon (AMZN.US) announced that its cloud computing business AWS will increase the prices of machine learning dedicated EC2 Capacity Blocks reserved capacity services starting July 1, affecting multiple cloud computing instances equipped with NVIDIA (NVDA.US) GPUs. This marks the second price adjustment for related products by AWS since January this year, reflecting the ongoing strong demand for AI computing power. AWS stated that this price adjustment mainly involves several instance types, including P6-B300, P6-B200, P5, P5e, P5en, and P4de. Among them, the P6-B300 and P6-B200 are equipped with NVIDIA Blackwell B300 and B200 GPUs, respectively, while the P5 series uses H100 and H200 GPUs, and the P4 series is equipped with A100 GPUs. According to the latest prices, the hourly price for each GPU of the P6-B300 instance has been raised to $14.04, and for the P6-B200 to $12.355; the hourly price for each GPU of the P5 instance in the U.S. has increased to $5.191, while it is $4.72 in non-U.S. regions; the prices for P5e and P5en instances have also been adjusted, and the price for the P4de instance has increased to $2.214 per GPU per hour. AWS indicated that, apart from the aforementioned products, the prices of other services remain unchanged. The company noted that the prices of EC2 Capacity Blocks machine learning reserved capacity services will be adjusted periodically based on market supply and demand conditions. Analysts believe that this price adjustment again reflects the continued shortage of AI computing resources. In recent years, with the rapid development of generative AI, large language models, and AI agents, the demand for GPU computing resources by enterprises has been continuously rising. NVIDIA's H100, H200, and the latest Blackwell series GPUs have been in long-term short supply, which has also driven cloud service providers to continually adjust computing power rental prices. The prices announced by AWS also show that the P6e UltraServer, composed of 72 Blackwell GB200 GPUs, has a rental cost of up to $761.9 per hour in the Dallas region of the U.S., equivalent to about $10.58 per GPU per hour. Additionally, the rental cost for the P5 instance equipped with 8 H100 GPUs is approximately $34.61 per hour in major U.S. regions; the P5en instance with 8 H200 GPUs has a rental cost of about $45.77 per hour; and the P4 series instances with 8 A100 GPUs range from approximately $11.8 to $14.77 per hour. In addition to NVIDIA GPUs, AWS also announced the prices for its self-developed AI chip Trainium series instances. The price for each accelerator of the Trn1 instance equipped with Trainium chips is approximately $0.596 per hour, while the corresponding price for the new generation Trn2 instance is about $2.235. Market participants believe that AWS's continuous price increases for AI computing products reflect the strong demand for AI infrastructure on one hand, and on the other hand, show that global cloud computing vendors are continuously benefiting from the tight supply of GPU resources As tech giants like Microsoft (MSFT.US), Meta (META.US), Amazon, and Google (GOOGL.US) continue to expand their investments in AI infrastructure, the market expects that the prices of high-performance GPU cloud services will remain high for the foreseeable future, and the AI computing power leasing business is likely to continue being an important growth driver for cloud computing providers ### Related Stocks - [AMZN.US](https://longbridge.com/en/quote/AMZN.US.md) - [NVDA.US](https://longbridge.com/en/quote/NVDA.US.md) - [NVDD.US](https://longbridge.com/en/quote/NVDD.US.md) - [NVDL.US](https://longbridge.com/en/quote/NVDL.US.md) - [NVDY.US](https://longbridge.com/en/quote/NVDY.US.md) - [NVDQ.US](https://longbridge.com/en/quote/NVDQ.US.md) - [AMZD.US](https://longbridge.com/en/quote/AMZD.US.md) - [AMZW.US](https://longbridge.com/en/quote/AMZW.US.md) - [NVDX.US](https://longbridge.com/en/quote/NVDX.US.md) - [NVDU.US](https://longbridge.com/en/quote/NVDU.US.md) - [AMZZ.US](https://longbridge.com/en/quote/AMZZ.US.md) - [AMZU.US](https://longbridge.com/en/quote/AMZU.US.md) - [AZYY.US](https://longbridge.com/en/quote/AZYY.US.md) - [NVDO.US](https://longbridge.com/en/quote/NVDO.US.md) - [07388.HK](https://longbridge.com/en/quote/07388.HK.md) - [NVDS.US](https://longbridge.com/en/quote/NVDS.US.md) - [AMZO.US](https://longbridge.com/en/quote/AMZO.US.md) - [AMZY.US](https://longbridge.com/en/quote/AMZY.US.md) - [07788.HK](https://longbridge.com/en/quote/07788.HK.md) - [AMZP.US](https://longbridge.com/en/quote/AMZP.US.md) - [MAGX.US](https://longbridge.com/en/quote/MAGX.US.md) - [NVDB.US](https://longbridge.com/en/quote/NVDB.US.md) - [NVDG.US](https://longbridge.com/en/quote/NVDG.US.md) - [NVD.US](https://longbridge.com/en/quote/NVD.US.md) - [NVDW.US](https://longbridge.com/en/quote/NVDW.US.md) - [NVYY.US](https://longbridge.com/en/quote/NVYY.US.md) - [NYYY.US](https://longbridge.com/en/quote/NYYY.US.md) - [DIPS.US](https://longbridge.com/en/quote/DIPS.US.md) - [09388.HK](https://longbridge.com/en/quote/09388.HK.md) - [SMH.US](https://longbridge.com/en/quote/SMH.US.md) - [SOXX.US](https://longbridge.com/en/quote/SOXX.US.md) - [SOXL.US](https://longbridge.com/en/quote/SOXL.US.md) - [SOXQ.US](https://longbridge.com/en/quote/SOXQ.US.md) - [XSD.US](https://longbridge.com/en/quote/XSD.US.md) - [PSI.US](https://longbridge.com/en/quote/PSI.US.md) - [FTXL.US](https://longbridge.com/en/quote/FTXL.US.md) - [MSFT.US](https://longbridge.com/en/quote/MSFT.US.md) - [META.US](https://longbridge.com/en/quote/META.US.md) - [GOOGL.US](https://longbridge.com/en/quote/GOOGL.US.md) - [NVD.DE](https://longbridge.com/en/quote/NVD.DE.md) - [GOOG.US](https://longbridge.com/en/quote/GOOG.US.md) ## Related News & Research - [Amazon to sell custom artificial intelligence chips](https://longbridge.com/en/news/290302856.md) - [Upscale AI valued at $2 billion after funding extension](https://longbridge.com/en/news/290443472.md) - [Malton partners NVIDIA cloud partner Ricloud for AI compute centers in Malaysia](https://longbridge.com/en/news/290668516.md) - [Groq raises $650 million for AI inference cloud after Nvidia licensing deal](https://longbridge.com/en/news/290485093.md) - [Penguin Solutions Becomes an NVIDIA AI Factory Specialized Partner | PENG Stock News](https://longbridge.com/en/news/290584588.md)
