\[Bloomberg\] -- A semiconductor industry organization has warned the Trump administration that attempts to address the global memory chip shortage by influencing prices or production capacity will exacerbate the historic supply constraints caused by the AI boom.

In a letter to senior U.S. government officials, the industry association SEMI urged the U.S. to allow companies to continue signing long-term agreements with customers and to extend tax incentives aimed at increasing U.S. production
