According to insiders, this hedge fund, which manages approximately $23 billion, generated all its returns in the second quarter. Despite the impressive performance, Tepper's overall investment style this year remains relatively cautious, with an average cash position of about 40%. Since the beginning of this year, driven by the sustained explosive demand for artificial intelligence (AI) computing power, the global storage chip industry has entered a new cycle of prosperity, becoming the main driver of Appaloosa's performance growth.
