# Crypto Market Falls Broadly Over 24 Hours as DeFi Sector Leads Declines

The cryptocurrency market declined across the board over the past 24 hours, with most losses ranging from about 2% to 9%, and the DeFi sector posting the steepest drop at 8.77%. According to Odaily, SoSoValue data showed LAB (LAB) fell 67.70% and Hyperliquid (HYPE) declined 4.30%, while EdgeX (EDGE) and Lido DAO (LDO) rose 29.12% and 11.01%, respectively. In other sectors, the CeFi sector fell 1.66% over 24 hours, with Cronos (CRO) down 3.91%. The Layer1 sector declined 2.22%, while Zcash (ZEC) rose 5.17% intraday. The PayFi sector dropped 2.30%, while Telcoin (TEL) gained 4.11%. The Meme sector fell 2.73%, though MemeCore (M) rose 11.30%. The Layer2 sector declined 3.02%, with Mantle (MNT) down 5.31%. Crypto sector indices tracking historical performance showed ssiSocialFi, ssiDePIN, and ssiAI fell 9.26%, 6.50%, and 5.23%, respectively.
