# UBS: Positive Clinical Data for HENGRUI PHARMA 's Weight-loss Drug HRS-7535; Attractive Valuation, Reiterates Buy

UBS published a report stating that HENGRUI PHARMA (01276.HK) -0.300 (-0.508%) Short selling $8.97M; Ratio 13.214% 's Phase III clinical trial for weight-loss drug HRS-7535 achieved its primary endpoint, and the company expects to submit a New Drug Application (NDA) in China within this year.

The broker believes the clinical data performance of HRS-7535 was positive. As of the end of week 44, the 180mg once-daily dosage group recorded a 9.8% reduction in body weight, with no sign of a plateau in weight-loss efficacy, while the drug also demonstrated good tolerability. The broker forecasts that HENGRUI PHARMA's GLP-1 product portfolio could achieve sales of RMB5.9 billion in the China market by 2035. UBS noted that the company's two domestic Phase III clinical trials targeting type 2 diabetes have also successfully achieved their primary endpoints.
