# CMOC Expects 1H Net Profit to Soar 78.8%-90.3%

CMOC (03993.HK) +0.340 (+2.274%) Short selling $42.53M; Ratio 8.441% issued a positive profit alert, expecting net profit attributable to shareholders for 1H26 to reach RMB15.5-16.5 billion, representing a YoY increase of 78.76-90.29%. Net profit excluding non-recurring gains and losses is expected to be RMB15-16 billion, up 71.94-83.40% YoY.  

The significant increase in the results of the Company for 1H26 as compared with the same period of last year was attributable to the increases in both the sales volumes and selling prices of copper products, a marked surge in the prices of molybdenum and tungsten products as compared with the same period of last year, and the consolidation of the gold-mining business in Brazil.
