# TIANQI LITHIUM Expects Interim Net Profit of RMB2.85B-4.25B

TIANQI LITHIUM (09696.HK) -0.980 (-2.869%) Short selling $9.30M; Ratio 5.844% expected net profit for the six months ended 30 June 2026 to range from RMB2.85 billion to RMB4.25 billion, compared with net profit of approximately RMB84.41 million in the same period last year. Net profit after deducting the non-recurring profit or loss was expected to range from RMB2.81 billion to RMB4.2 billion, compared with approximately RMB1.32 million in the same period last year. Basic EPS was expected to range from RMB1.68 to RMB2.51, compared with RMB0.05 in the same period last year.  

The Company expected to record a significant increase in revenue for the Reporting Period as compared with the corresponding period of last year. Benefiting from multiple favorable factors, including the development of the new energy industry and the growth in downstream demand, the average selling prices of the Company’s major lithium products increased significantly during the Reporting Period as compared with the corresponding period of last year.
