# CHINA SOUTH AIR : Jun Passenger Capacity Down 1.18% YoY, Cargo Capacity Down 3.07%

CHINA SOUTH AIR (01055.HK) -0.070 (-2.077%) Short selling $10.87M; Ratio 21.883% announced that in June this year, the group's passenger capacity, measured by available seat kilometers (ASK), decreased 1.18% YoY. Among which, domestic and regional capacity fell 3.99% and 5.76% respectively, while international capacity increased 6.84%. Revenue passenger kilometers (RPK) decreased 2.48% YoY. Among which, domestic and regional traffic fell 5.51% and 9.63% respectively, while international traffic increased 6.39%. Passenger load factor was 84.03%, down 1.13 ppts YoY, with domestic, regional and international load factors decreasing 1.35 ppts, 3.39 ppts and 0.35 ppts respectively.

For cargo operations, cargo capacity, measured by available ton kilometers for cargo and mail, decreased 3.07% YoY in June. Cargo and mail traffic, measured by revenue ton kilometers for cargo and mail, decreased 2.18% YoY. Cargo and mail load factor was 55.4%, up 0.51 ppts YoY.
