# Mont Sorcier Optimization Studies Delay Bankable Feasibility Study, Key ESIA filings Remains on Schedule

Chibougamau Independent Mines Inc. announced on July 15, 2026, that Cerrado Gold Inc. has decided to extend the completion date on the Bankable Feasibility Study at its Mont Sorcier high grade iron ore deposit in Quebec's Chibougamau region. Chibougamau holds a 2% GMR royalty in this project. Cerrado aims to assess various optimization and trade-off possibilities identified during the BFS process which could significantly improve the project's overall value. Chibougamau trades on CBG-TSX-V in Canada, CLL1-Frankfurt, Stuttgart, Berlin, and Lang & Schwarz Stock Exchanges in Germany, and CMAUF-OTC in the US. Cerrado trades on CERT-TSXV and CRDOF-OTCQX.
