# China National Building Material hits 52-week low on profit warning

China National Building Material (3323.HK) **tumbled** during regular trading to **HK$3.810**, marking a new 52-week low.

The decline follows the company’s recent profit warning, which forecasts a net loss of approximately **RMB890 million** for the six months ended June 30, 2026, compared to a profit of **RMB1.36 billion** in the same period last year. The sharp turnaround was driven by declining prices and sales volumes for core building materials such as cement and concrete, alongside increased asset impairment provisions. While new segments like fiberglass performed well, they were insufficient to offset the profit decline in the core business.
