Following the announcement, the stock jumped nearly 10%. The company announced its preliminary results ahead of its full earnings release on August 5. Eos expects second-quarter revenue of $68 million to $69 million, the highest quarterly revenue in its history. Shipments more than tripled from a year earlier, while first-half 2026 revenue exceeded the company’s total revenue for all of 2025. The company also expects a record backlog of about $807 million as of June 30, up roughly 25% from the previous quarter. New orders exceeded quarterly shipments, reflecting continued customer demand and improving revenue visibility. Total cash, including restricted cash, is expected to reach about $364 million, while customer collections of approximately $78 million surpassed quarterly revenue. ## Battery Line 2 Boosts Production Capacity Eos expects a gross margin loss of 69% to 73% as it ramps production. The company began commercial production on Battery Line 2 during the quarter, operating two commercial production lines across two manufacturing facilities. Although start-up costs and lower initial production volumes are weighing on near-term margins, management said the expansion should improve unit economics over time. “Our preliminary second quarter results reflect a quarter of disciplined execution and continued progress across the business,” CEO **Joe Mastrangelo** said. “We expect to deliver record quarterly revenue and record backlog, demonstrating that the investments we have made in our manufacturing platform continue to translate into stronger topline and commercial performance.” ## Eos Energy Price Action **EOSE Stock Price Activity:** Eos Energy Enterprises shares were up 9.38% at $4.780 during premarket trading on Thursday, according to Benzinga Pro data. *Photo via Shutterstock* ### Related Stocks - [EOSE.US](https://longbridge.com/en/quote/EOSE.US.md) - [EOSEW.US](https://longbridge.com/en/quote/EOSEW.US.md) - [EOSU.US](https://longbridge.com/en/quote/EOSU.US.md) - [SSTK.US](https://longbridge.com/en/quote/SSTK.US.md) ## Related News & Research - [Eos Energy Enterprises to Consolidate Battery Manufacturing at Thorn Hill Location | EOSE Stock News](https://longbridge.com/en/news/297193990.md) - [WATTMORE and Eos Energy Enterprises Announce Strategic Software and Energy Storage Agreement | EOSE Stock News](https://longbridge.com/en/news/296793372.md) - [Windon Energy Group wins SEK 1.6 million Vinnova grant for portable battery development](https://longbridge.com/en/news/297307040.md) - [Shelly’s new $50 security camera watches your home without a subscription](https://longbridge.com/en/news/297672137.md) - [Under the Radar: The AI Trade Is Becoming an Energy Trade](https://longbridge.com/en/news/296942037.md) --- > **Disclaimer: This article is for reference only and does not constitute any investment advice.**
