# JL MAG Rare-Earth Boosts Buyback to Signal Confidence in H Shares

JL MAG Rare-Earth Co., Ltd. Class H ( (HK:6680) ) has provided an announcement.

JL MAG Rare-Earth Co., Ltd. announced that it has repurchased 2,723,200 H shares on the Hong Kong market, equal to about 0.20% of its total issued share capital. The buyback, executed on July 17, 2026 at an average price of roughly HK$16.27 per share for a total of about HK$44.31 million, will result in the cancellation of these shares and a corresponding reduction in registered capital.

The board said the current H share price undervalues the company’s intrinsic worth and business prospects and framed the repurchase as a signal of management’s confidence and a move to enhance shareholder value. JL MAG noted it still meets Hong Kong’s public float requirements after the transaction and may carry out further buybacks when appropriate, while cautioning shareholders and investors to be careful when trading its securities.
