# CIBC Sticks to Their Buy Rating for TransAlta (TAC)

In a report released today, Mark Jarvi from CIBC maintained a Buy rating on TransAlta, with a price target of C$26.00.

### TipRanks Welcomes a New ETF – NYSE:RANK

-   TipRanks has entered a new arena in the investing world, powering the index of an ETF based on its unique data now trading under the ticker RANK on the NYSE.
-   RANK tracks the performance of the TipRanks US Momentum Analysts Index, a rules-based index of 50 large U.S. companies.

According to TipRanks, Jarvi is a 5-star analyst with an average return of 13.1% and a 69.65% success rate. Jarvi covers the Utilities sector, focusing on stocks such as Emera, Fortis, and XPLR Infrastructure.

In addition to CIBC, TransAlta also received a Buy from Jefferies’s Julien Dumoulin Smith in a report issued yesterday. However, on July 3, Desjardins maintained a Hold rating on TransAlta (NYSE: TAC).
