US CPI and PPI data triggered two significant waves of declines. The Bloomberg US Dollar Index rose 0.09% to 1217.29 points, down 0.14% for the week, within a trading range of 1222.56-1212.47 points. USD/JPY rose 0.04% to 162.46 yen, up 0.48% for the week, with a trading range of 161.62-162.55 yen.
