NetEase Youdao first publicly showcased its Youdao OpenPods at the 2026 World Artificial Intelligence Conference (WAIC), with the device supporting real-time interpretation in more than a dozen languages. According to Jin10, the earbuds also offer audio transcription, automatic generation of structured summaries, and mind map creation. The company said OpenPods has already entered mass production, is expected to be officially unveiled in August, and will be launched overseas in the future.
