# SBI Holdings Acquires Majority Stake in Coinhako After Regulatory Approval

Japanese financial services company SBI Holdings has acquired a majority stake in Singapore crypto exchange Coinhako and received regulatory approval for the deal. According to Odaily, Coinhako is a local trading platform in Singapore. After the transaction was completed, SBI Holdings further expanded its crypto business presence in Asia.
