# Vladfun Fires Two Developers After Unauthorized Token Launch on Robinhood Chain

Foresight News reported that Robinhood Chain token launch platform vladfun said two developers secretly launched their own token and hard-coded it into the front end when the platform went live on July 15, leaving users able to see only that token while other creator tokens were hidden. According to Foresight News, the team detected the issue within two hours, fired the two developers, removed the malicious code, and recovered part of the funds. Vladfun, a five-person team, built the platform in 48 hours. The developers initially blamed an RPC failure and caching, but evidence showed the token was manually hard-coded in the final submission. They then asked to disable repository branch protection to roll back the changes and delete the related code. Because the team had completed a timestamped backup of the repository, the evidence was preserved. The two developers have returned about $15,000 in creator fees and test token proceeds, and the recovered funds were placed in the team’s secure wallet, including about 7.8 ETH. The team said it never agreed to issue a vladfun token and will focus first on helping affected users.
