The upward movement follows the company’s July 14 completion of a $6 million acquisition of **TradeIQ** from Hong Kong-based **Litial Ltd**. TradeIQ provides predictive-intelligence software designed to complement commodity trading and risk management platforms. The transaction includes the software’s source code, models, training datasets, data pipelines, and technical documentation. **Read Also: US Corporate Bankruptcies Hit 16-Year High in First Half of 2026: Report** Sadot structured the purchase with $50,000 in cash, 200,000 common stock shares valued at $2 million, and 3,950 Series C preferred shares holding a total stated value of $3.95 million. ## Financing Package Secures $200 Million The company also expanded its capital access by securing agreements for up to $200 million in new funding. On Thursday, Sadot closed an initial $4 million tranche of a senior-secured convertible notes facility that offers up to $100 million. These notes carry an 8.25% annual interest rate, mature on July 16, 2028, and feature a conversion price of $17.81. Additional draws remain subject to shareholder approval, effective resale registration statements, trading liquidity requirements and Nasdaq compliance. Furthermore, the company established a separate equity purchase facility allowing the discretionary sale of up to $100 million in newly issued common stock. ## Legal Settlement Eliminates Equity Overhang According to company details reported on Friday, Sadot resolved outstanding litigation with **Helena Global** in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York. Under the terms of the settlement, Sadot Group will pay $350,000 in cash, leading both parties to dismiss the lawsuit with prejudice and release all claims. The agreement terminates a legacy $10 million equity-line facility, which removes a potential source of future stock dilution. This follows debt-for-equity exchanges completed earlier in July that retired approximately $3.36 million in outstanding obligations. **SDOT Price Action:** Sadot Group shares were up 29.50% at $32.76 during premarket trading on Monday, according to Benzinga Pro data. **Read Also: David Sacks Says Using Regulatory Uncertainty Against Chinese AI Is 'Completely Unacceptable'** *Image via Shutterstock* ### Related Stocks - [SDOT.US](https://longbridge.com/en/quote/SDOT.US.md) ## Related News & Research - [Group 1 Automotive initial beneficial ownership filing lists Conifer Management as 10% owner](https://longbridge.com/en/news/297955242.md) - [Kroger declares BRL 1.35 per unit dividend, payable Sept. 8](https://longbridge.com/en/news/297930050.md) - [From tokens to outcomes: Google Cloud’s global startups head sees AI cost shift, expands Singapore push](https://longbridge.com/en/news/297858696.md) - [AMD vs. Oracle: One AI Stock Is a Buy, the Other's Future Is Cloudy, Says Top Investor](https://longbridge.com/en/news/297929180.md) - [Cemtrex files draft information statement for Nevada reincorporation](https://longbridge.com/en/news/298071448.md) --- > **Disclaimer: This article is for reference only and does not constitute any investment advice.**
