# Montage Technology Expects Sharp First-Half 2026 Growth on AI Demand

Montage Technology said it expects a sharp increase in operating results in the first half of 2026, driven by AI industry demand and higher DDR5 penetration, according to Jiemian News. The company said shipments of its DDR5 RCD chips rose significantly as successive product generations were iterated, with the share of third- and fourth-generation RCD shipments increasing further. Revenue from its interconnect chip product line rose to about 3.111 billion yuan in the first half, up 26.4% from a year earlier. In the second quarter, interconnect chip revenue was about 1.694 billion yuan, up 28.2% year on year and 19.5% from the first quarter. Montage Technology also said new products including MRCD/MDB, PCIe Retimer, CKD and CXLMXC chips generated significantly higher revenue, while net profit increased from a year earlier on gains in revenue, gross profit, investment income and fair value changes.
