# U.S. Stock Futures Flat as Investors Brace for Several Major Earnings

U.S. stock futures were mostly flat on Tuesday evening as investors looked ahead to another round of major corporate earnings. Futures on the Nasdaq 100 (NDX), the Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJIA), and the S&P 500 Index (SPX) were down 0.15%, 0.02%, and 0.06%, respectively, at 6:43 p.m. EDT on July 21.

Major indices bounced back on Tuesday after three straight down days, aided by a strong rally in chip stocks. WTI oil also hit its highest level in more than five weeks. Overall, the Nasdaq, the S&P 500, and the Dow rose 1.3%, 0.9%, and 0.7%, respectively.

On Wednesday, several key companies such as ServiceNow (NOW), IBM (IBM), Tesla (TSLA), Texas Instruments (TXN), Alphabet (GOOGL), and AT&T (T) are set to report their quarterly numbers.
