Hong Kong stocks fell in morning trade, with the Hang Seng Index down 0.83% and the Hang Seng Tech Index down 2.11% at midday. According to Jin10, gold shares rose against the trend, with Chifeng Jilong Gold Mining up more than 14%, Zijin Gold International up more than 11%, and Zijin Mining Group up more than 7%.
