TENCENT (00700.HK) -30.800 (-6.498%) Short selling $3.00B; Ratio 17.058% slid as much as 7% in the afternoon, hitting a low of HK$440.6. It last traded at HK$443.6, down 6.41%, with a turnover of HK$25.394 billion. NTES (09999.HK) -13.900 (-6.670%) Short selling $320.44M; Ratio 28.140% last posted at HK$193.2, down 7.29%, making it the worst performing blue chip, with a turnover of HK$1.991 billion. KUAISHOU-W (01024.HK) -2.520 (-5.588%) Short selling $221.63M; Ratio 22.701% also dived more than 6%, while BABA-W (09988.HK) -3.000 (-2.564%) Short selling $1.76B; Ratio 22.709% and JD-SW (09618.HK) -2.600 (-2.147%) Short selling $141.89M; Ratio 43.282% slumped more than 3%. SMIC (00981.HK) -2.550 (-3.377%) Short selling $949.88M; Ratio 20.467% , XIAOMI-W (01810.HK) -0.700 (-2.553%) Short selling $669.49M; Ratio 31.118% , MEITUAN-W (03690.HK) -1.700 (-1.995%) Short selling $426.06M; Ratio 22.680% , and BIDU-SW (09888.HK) -2.600 (-2.425%) Short selling $110.70M; Ratio 29.508% sagged 2.5-3%. Traders expected Tencent's mobile game revenue to edged down in 2Q, Bloomberg reported. BNP Paribas' sales team wrote in a client report that gaming stocks were heavily sold off due to rumors of a plunge in Tencent's mobile revenue. Steven Leung, executive director of UOB Kay Hian, said that the potential revenue downfall could be an excuse for the market to take profits on Tencent's recent gains. The stock swelled approximately 10% in the first three weeks of July.
