# Uber Cuts 10% of Customer Service Department Workforce

Uber Technologies, Inc. (UBER.US) will cut 10% of the workforce in its customer service department, aiming to streamline operations, strengthen in-person collaboration, and continue advancing the application of AI technologies.

An Uber spokesperson said team members previously working remotely have also been asked to return to company-designated office locations in line with the company's return-to-office policy.
