# US FCC Votes to Ban Sale of Key Hardware Devices from CN Firms

The US Federal Communications Commission (FCC) voted to ban the sale of key hardware devices from Chinese companies on national security grounds.

According to foreign media reports, the FCC maintains a list of companies that includes Huawei and ZTE (00763.HK) -0.780 (-3.047%) Short selling $85.55M; Ratio 4.636% . FCC Chairman Brendan Carr said the decision aims to fully close loopholes in components.
