Galaxy Digital Seeks $3.5 Billion Debt Financing for Texas Helios Data Center Project

Galaxy Digital is seeking $3.5 billion in debt financing for part of its Helios data center campus project in Dickens County, Texas, as well as funding for a debt service reserve. According to Foresight News, people familiar with the matter said the company plans to issue bonds at a yield of about 9%. Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs Group are managing the offering, which is expected to be priced on Thursday. It would be Galaxy Digital’s first high-yield bond sale, after previously raising money through convertible bonds. In a separate statement released earlier this month, Galaxy Digital said CoreWeave has committed to lease computing capacity at the facility for 15 years, with the contract expected to generate more than $1 billion in annual revenue. The first phase of the project was completed earlier this year, and the second phase is expected to begin in 2027.
